NCP Secretariat meeting scheduled for November 22

KATHMANDU: Preparations are underway to hold the Secretariat meeting of the Nepal Communist Party (NCP) on Thursday, said the NCP central office today.

The meeting could not be held for the past one month due to various reasons like health issues of Prime Minister and Co-Chair of the party KP Sharma Oli and ongoing festivals, said secretary of the central office, Krishna Gopal Shrestha.

The meeting will discuss issues regarding giving full-shape to the NCP provincial committee, formation of the district committee, unity of sister organisations, agenda and schedule for holding standing committee meeting, review of performance of party, parliament and government, and management of the central office, he said.

"Party's senior leader Madhav Kumar Nepal, who is on a foreign visit, is returning home coming Wednesday. The meeting will be held after that," he said.

The last Secretariat meeting was held on October 25.
