Nepal COVID-19 Update: 302 new cases, 480 recoveries and seven fatalities recorded on Friday

KATHMANDU: Nepal’s Health Ministry shared the latest updates on coronavirus contagion from across the country.

Till date, 2,035,301 tests through Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) method have been carried out wherein 3,545 tests were performed in the last 24 hours.

At present, there are 158 people under quarantine in various facilities across the country. The number of active cases in Nepal is 3,614.

302 new cases of the coronavirus infection were registered today taking the national tally to 268,948.

As many as 480 persons earlier diagnosed with the disease have tested negative in the last 24 hours. With the recent addition, the national COVID-19 recovery tally has now reached 263,348.

Meanwhile, seven more fatalities were confirmed by the Ministry today, with which the country’s COVID-19 death tally has reached 1,986.

As of today, the country has witnessed 268,948 cases of the coronavirus infection while 263,348 people have recovered from the disease. Meanwhile, 1,986 COVID-19 fatalities have been confirmed.
