Nepal COVID-19 Update: 348 new cases, 441 recoveries and four fatalities recorded on Tuesday

KATHMANDU: Nepal’s Health Ministry shared the latest updates on coronavirus contagion from across the country.

Till date, 2,021,714 tests through Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) method have been carried out wherein 4,956 tests were performed in the last 24 hours.

At present, there are 190 people under quarantine in various facilities across the country. The number of active cases in Nepal is 3,764.

348 new cases of the coronavirus infection were registered today taking the national tally to 267,992.

As many as 441 persons earlier diagnosed with the disease have tested negative in the last 24 hours. With the recent addition, the national COVID-19 recovery tally has now reached 262,259.

Meanwhile, four more fatalities were confirmed by the Ministry today, with which the country’s COVID-19 death tally has reached 1,969.

As of today, the country has witnessed 267,992 cases of the coronavirus infection while 262,259 people have recovered from the disease. Meanwhile, 1,969 COVID-19 fatalities have been confirmed.
