KATHMANDU, SEPTEMBER 08
The national active Covid-19 caseload of Nepal active caseload has reached to 2,473 on Thursday as 227 people tested positive for the infection in past 24 hours.
The latest reported number of infections carried the nationwide tally to 998,432 while the death toll remains at 12,010 as one fatality was recorded today.
Meanwhile, the total coronavirus recoveries stand at 983,949 with 168 discharges logged today.
As per the latest data provided by the health ministry, a total of 4,401 tests were conducted in the last 24 hours of which 1,518 were PCR tests while 2,883 were antigen tests.
With this, a total of 5,903,641 PCR tests have been carried out till date.
Similarly, antigen tests confirmed 90 positive cases in the past 24 hours. Nepal's Covid-19 recovery rate stands at 98.6%, while the fatality rate stands at 1.2%.
Currently, there are no individuals in any quarantine facilities across Nepal.
