Nepali Ambassador Dhakal calls on Omani Minister of State and Governor

KATHMANDU: Nepali Ambassador to Oman Sharmila Parajuli Dhakal paid a courtesy call on the Minister of State and Governor of Muscat Sayyid Saud bin Hamad al-Busaidi on Monday.

During the meeting, Ambassador Dhakal praised the dynamic leadership of Sultan Qaboos bin Said Al-Said and wished for his good health.

She expressed happiness over the excellent state of bilateral relations between Nepal and Oman, reads a press release issued by the Embassy of Nepal, Muscat, Oman.

Minister praised the Minister for Labour, and Embassy of Nepal in sultanate of Oman working together for the betterment in the field of manpower and trainings. He also added that skilled workers and the professionals are the current need on the development of sultanate of Oman.

The Minister of State and Governor of Muscat assured of continued Omani support providing all kind of cooperation to the socio-economic development efforts of Nepal, added the statement.

He also wished Dhakal for her successful tenure and congratulated her as first Ambassador to Sultanate of Oman.
