Nepali bags US award

Kathmandu, April 12:

Mohan Dangi, a non-resident Nepali, became the first Nepali to be awarded with ‘Trio Award-2004’ from the State University of Wyoming, US, for his academic excellence and social commitment. The University gave him the award on April 10. Dangi has extended techical assistance to students of the Pulchowk Engineering Campus. Dangi has now settled in Colorado, US. Dangi is currently in Nepal to implement the Global Pathways Project in IOE — TU. Dangi is also the first Nepali to receive engineering degrees from the Colorado School of Mines where he got his M.Sc degree in environmental engineering and B.Sc in chemical engineering. In addition, Dangi also received AS in physical science from Wyoming with the highest honour of Valedictorian.
