BARA: CPN-MC Chairperson Pushpa Kamal Dahal on Monday said his party may form an alliance with the ruling Nepali Congress for the third round of local level elections in Province 2, which is slated for September 18.

Speaking to journalist after attending an election campaign at Dumarwana of Jitpur-Simara sub-metropolis, Dahal said discussions on forming electoral alliance were at the final stage and would be finalised within a day or two.

CPN-MC has already finalised its candidates in the district. However, Nepali Congress is yet to finalise candidates in Kalaiya, Jitpur-Simara, and Nijgadh.
