Nepali migrant workers injured in Malaysia house fire

KATHMANDU: Two Nepali migrant workers were injured, one of them badly, after a fire broke out in a building they were residing in Kelana Jaya of the State of Selangor, in Malaysia.

According to The Star Online, 27-year-old Raghunath, who worked as a security guard, was badly injured as he jumped off the the fourth floor of the shophouse along Jalan Perbandaran SS7, Kelana Jaya, to escape a fiery blaze on the third floor. He was sent to a local hospital for treatment.

Another man, identified with the first name Bhumiraj only, was slightly injured while climbing down from the fourth floor.

The report said three other housemates could manage to escape unharmed.
