WASHINGTON: Gunmen have shot dead a Nepali national working at a store in Texas, USA.

The deceased has been identified as Manish Pandey (35), a Nepali national who had gone to Texas from Nepal sometime back.

The incident occurred when two looters entered the store Pandey was working in at midnight and shot him dead. The store is located near Broadway Bluebird in Texas and was opened in 2011. The looters were wearing masks and had entered the store at closing time.

The Texas Police has said they have mounted a search for the looters.

A group of looters had shot dead another Nepali, Samira Shivakoti, in Texas two years back.
