Nepalis living in Hong Kong extend assistance to children's home
MORANG: Nepalis living and working in Hong Kong have provided financial support to Namuna Children's Home based at Urlabari in Morang district on Thursday.
The permanent residents of Urlabari and currently working in Hong Kong doled out Rs 131,300 as a revolving fund for the children's home.
Rakesh Chandra Rai, a migrant worker in Hong Kong, handed over the amount to the chair of Children's home Meena Baral, secretary Tej Bahadur Ghimire and member Prahlad Thapa amidst a function yesterday.
On the occasion, Rai said that the amount was collected from Nepali community in Hong Kong.
