Kathmandu, September 18:

A group of restaurant owners and workers today vandalised the office of the Metro Post daily and manhandled its editor and computer operator.

According to editor of the vernacular tabloid, Ram Hari Silwal, a group of around 20 people broke into the office and vandalised computers, fax machines, printers, scanners, telephone sets and office furniture.

The daily had published a news “Torch rally organised demanding authorities to allow naked dance in dance restaurants” today.

Issuing a press statement, the daily has condemned the attack and demanded the government to punish the culprits.
