KAWASOTI: Nine people were injured when a passenger bus overturned at Arunkhola in Nawalparasi along the East-West Highway this morning.

The bus with registration Me 1 Kha 2201 was going towards Nepalgunj from Kakarbhitta when it lost control and overturned on the highway at 5:00 am, police said.

The nine passengers who sustained injuries in the incident are being treated at Chitwan Medical College. 16 other passengers did not suffer any injuries and are safe, Dumkibas-based Area Police Office stated.
