BIRGUNJ: Health workers of the National Medical College, Birgunj on Monday staged a sit-in protest programme halting all the services except emergency protesting against the administration following the expulsion of three staff members. According to the irate staff the administration expelled three staff members—Ramesh Prasad Bhattarai, Jakiur Rehman and Raj Kapoor Mandal. The protestors demanded the reinstatement of the expelled staff and implementation of past agreements among other demands.
