HETAUDA:  Thaha Municipality of Makawanpur has been running without a chief for  the past one-and-a-half month.

The absence of a chief has dealt a blow  to development activities at the municipality.

After Executive Chief  Harilal Puri, of the municipality, was transferred to Kawasoti  Municipality on March 29, Thaha Municipality has remained headless.

Municipality administration department chief Anil Lamichhane said the  absence of an office chief had halted development works, salary  distribution of the staff and major financial works.
