BANEPA: Secretary at the Ministry of Home Affairs, Lok Darshan Regmi on Friday said that the government will not make any compromise in maintaining security in view of the local polls slated for May 14.

Speaking at a central region level security seminar in Dhulikhel of Kavrepalanchok district, Regmi directed the security officials to adopt effective mechanism abiding by laws to maintain the security.

Similarly, spokesperson at the Ministry Balkrishna Panthi, Kavre Chief District Officer Shiva Simkhada also addressed the seminar.

CDOs and chiefs of security bodies of 11 districts are attending the seminar.
