No dillydallying in impeachment debate, assures Speaker

RUPANDEHI: Speaker Onsari Gharti assured that the Parliament would not dillydally the ongoing discussions on the impeachment motion filed against the Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority Chief Lok Man Singh Karki.

As the process has already begun, no one should doubt if would get stopped halfway, she said while speaking at a press meet in Butwal today.

Gharti said the discussions would conclude following the due parliamentary procedures.

"(The motion) will be tabled for the decision after completing the needful process," she said, "The House is moving ahead the process and it will not dillydally."

Meanwhile, Gharti said the major parties should be united to implement the Constitution and head the nation towards developments.
