Don't plead with neighbours over internal problems: Madhav K Nepal

RAUTAHAT: Former Prime Minister and CPN-UML senior leader Madhav Kumar Nepal said that the government should not plead with neighbours to solve its internal problems.

Inaugurating a community building in Ganga Pipara of his home district Rautahat today, Nepal said the government should be cautious enough not to spread any wrong message about the nation while letting the world know internal affairs of Nepal.

He, however, maintained that it should be able to maintain friendly ties with all the nations.

Meanwhile, the former Prime Minister said all political parties should be united on issues of national importance.

He was of the view that power sharing on the basis of political ideology was a major obstacle to national development.

Nepal was accompanied by the Japanese Ambassador to Nepal Masashi Ogawa for the inauguration.

The Japanese government had extended a support of Rs 9.7 million for the building construction.
