KATHMANDU: The vehicular movement along Butwal-Palpa road section in Siddhartha Highway will be closed for six hours from 10am-4pm tomorrow.

The Road Division Office Palpa said traffic will be halted along the road stretch for clearing landslide debris on Monday.

Road stretching from Siddababa temple to Dovan is prone to landslide and landslips during monsoon and dry season.

Recently a truck and a van was hit by landslide in the area during festive season. Many lives and property have been lost in the highway.

Commoners have been demanding the local and central level political parties to find alternative route as many have to travel putting their lives on sword along the road.
