KATHMANDU: Baburam Bhattarai-led Naya Shakti Nepal staged a sit-in at Bhadrakali demanding an end to black-marketing  and acceleration of the reconstruction process on Sunday.

The party’s  cadres staged the sit-in from 10:00am to 12:00pm. They also demanded  that the government address the genuine demands of the Madhes movement  and accelerate the process of reconstruction.

Stating that Madhes  problems were relevant not only for the Tarai region, but for the entire  country, Bhattarai said the major parties needed to address genuine  demands of Madhesis before they hit the street the second time.
