LAMJUNG: Public and private health facilities here in the district headquarters have witnessed a surge in number of patients suffering from viral fever.

The Lamjung Community Hospital said most of the patients who recently visited the hospital suffered from viral fever. Around 200 people visit the hospital every day.

Children are affected the most by the viral fever which broke out due to rise in temperatures and change in weather.

People who contracted viral infection develop from fever, diarrhoea, cold and cough, according to medical professionals.
