RAJBIRAJ: Chief of Sunsari-based Animal Quarantine Check Post was killed in a motorcycle accident in Bhardaha of Saptari on Sunday night.

Satrughna Parsad Choudary (54) was a resident of Kanchanrup Muncipality-4 of Saptari.

The motorbike he was riding on (Ba 2 Pa 638) met with the accident while he was returning home on his motorbike from Sunsari, near the Koshi Barrage in Bhardaha at around 11pm yesterday night.

Preliminary police investigations show that he might have died of suffocation as his head was submerged into water after the bike veered into the field.

There were no any sign of physical injuries or scares on the deceased's body.

The body has been sent for postmortem at the Gajendra Narayan Singh Sagarmatha Zonal Hospital in Rajbiraj.
