CHITWAN: Nepali Congress (NC) senior leader Ram Chandra Paudel said that the term of KP Sharma Oli-led government would be determined by its coalition partners not the NC.

He was speaking at a press conference organised by Nepal Press Union, Chitwan, at Bharatpur Airport in Chitwan on Tuesday.

Saying that the topmost priority of his party was to implement the Constitution instead of joining the government, leader Paudel stressed a stable government to implement the Constitution.

He went on to say that his party was for holding local bodies' election at the earliest.

Stating that it would be difficult to hold the local bodies' election without taking the Madhes-based parties into confidence, Paudel said that the issues raised by the Madhesi leaders should be resolved through serious talks.

Saying that the incumbent government had failed to settle the issues of Madhesi parties, he said that his party would take initiatives to take the protesting parties into confidence.
