Two killed in mishap

KAVRE: Two persons died on the spot when a mini-truck bound for Kavre’s Panchkhal from Bhaktapur turned turtle at the Janagal-Bhaisepati chowk on Wednesday. Eight persons were injured in the incident. The mishap occurred when the overspeeding truck tried to avoid hitting a pedestrian crossing the road. Those killed are Laxmi Maya Tamang (40) of Makawanpur’s Chhatiwan and her son Babu Lal (10). The condition of two hurt is critical. — HNS
