KAPILVASTU: A group of agitating students on Wednesday vandalised and set ablaze the house of the District Development Committee chairman Krishna Bahadur Choudhary at Bhikshu chowk, Toulihawa. Poems for peace
NUWAKOT: Wishing for the restoration of peace in the country, 18 poets, including Kapildev Khanel, Ganesh Khanal, Maheshwor Sharma, Pusparaj Lohani, Damodar Sharma ‘Prawan and Arun Kumar Shrestha, recited poems at a poets’ seminar organised by the Professionals Coordination Committee here on Tuesday. KATHMANDU: Police deployed at the Tribhuvan International Airport on Tuesday arrested a foreigner, Pintu Gomes, with $31,800. Gomes was about to leave for Dhaka on a Biman Bangladesh flight. Police said they were investigating the matter. — RSS

TAPLEJUNG: Nepal Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Taplejung, staged a protest rally here on Wednesday. The participants went around the city and chanted anti-government slogans.
