Four students freed

POKHARA: Local administration on Saturday released four students who were arrested for waving black flags at the Minister for Education and Sports Radhakrishna Mainali on Friday, while Mainali was addressing the national convention of National PABSON in Pokhara. The police had arrested Mohan Pandit, Surya Ghimire, Taranath Adhikari and the President of NSU Prithivi Narayan Campus unit Kamalmani Dhakal. — HNS

Relatives worried

POKHARA: The relatives of two persons, Bikash Maharjan and Kamala Kalpali, both feared drowned at the Fewa lake on Thursday have arrived in Pokhara on Friday. It may take a couple of days yet to find the bodies, people involved in the search for bodies, said. — HNS

Six hurt in bus mishap

BIRTHAMOD: Around six persons were wounded when a bus, wending eastwards, met with an accident on Charpane-Durgapur section of the Mahendra Highway on Friday afternoon, police said. — RSS
