60 soldiers freed

Sixty RNA men, whom the Maoists had captured after a clash in Pili on August 7, were freed on Tuesday and handed over to ICRC officials in presence of Prakand, the Maoist in-charge of Bheri-Karnali region, commander of the Maoists’ Western Division, Prabhakar, said. “Honouring the international humanitarian law, we treated injured soldiers.” — HNS
