ANNFSU backs stir

DANG: The national meet of CPN-UML-aligned All Nepal National Student Union (ANNFSU) concluded at Ghorahi, Dang on Tuesday. The participants voiced their solidarity with the seven-party alliance in its agitation against regression. Garnering support for the alliance was among their core aims, the students said. Varsity panel formed

KATHMANDU: The King has constituted a committee under the chairmanship of pro-chancellor of the Purbanchal University and Minister of Education and Sports, Radha Krishna Mainali, to recommend the name of person for appointment to the post of chairman of the Purbanchal University Service Commission. Truck-hit claims one

DHARAN: A truck with registration number Na 1 Kha 4179 crushed a 11-year-old boy, Prakash Rai, to death in Sharangadada, Dharan, on Tuesday. The truck was headed for Dhankuta. The police have impounded the truck and arrested the driver. — HNS
