‘Highest temperature’

DHANGADHI: Kailali and Kanchanpur on Sunday recorded highest temperature in the past 10 years. Dhangadhi recorded 44 degrees Attariya branch of the Department of Meteorology said the temperature is the highest since 1995. — HNS

3 held, hashish seized

Birgunj: Three persons were arrested and 20 kg hashish was seized in raids from different places of Birgunj. Fifteen kilos of hashish was seized from the residence of Rajjak in Parsa, police said. Yesterday, 4 kg hashish was seized from Birgunj-18 and one kilo from a local girl’s room. — HNS
