Narke clash toll 10

KAVRE: The toll from the clash in Narke, where a group of Maoists had attacked a bus boarded by security personnel at the Narke area of Mangaltar VDC-9 on Friday, has reached 10, a lieutenant colonel of the RNA’s No 9 brigade at Bhakunde, Sahadev Khadka, said, adding that the casualties included six security personnel, two Maoists and two civilians. —HNS

RAMECHHAP: Telephone services, which had been disrupted in the districts of Sindhuli, Dholakha and Ramechhap for the last three weeks, have resumed from Saturday. The service resumed after a faulty generator of the NTC tower in Madanwas, Sindhuli, was replaced with a new one. — HNS
