3 Maoists killed

KATHMANDU: At least three Maoists were killed in security operations in Terathum and Chitwan, the Royal Nepalese Army said. Two Maoists were shot by the forces during a clash at Pouthak of Terathum on Monday. A Maoist was killed at Smriti Chowk of Chitwan on Sunday. Some 254 Maoists of Okhaldhunga district surrendered before the forces from May 16-30. — RSS
