Prez greets Bulgaria

KATHMANDU: President Dr Ram Baran Yadav on Tuesday congratulated President of the Republic of Bulgaraia Georgi Parvanov on the occasion of the National Day of Bulgaria. Sending a congratulatory message, Dr Yadav wished Bulgarian President Parvanov for his good health and happiness as well as the progress and prosperity of Bulgarian people. Dr Yadav also expressed confidence that the relations between the two countries would grow further in the years ahead. Similarly, Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ extended felicitations and best wishes to Bulgarian Prime Minister Sergei Stanishev for his personal health and happiness as well as the progress and prosperity of people of Republic of Bulgaria. — RSS

Book released

KATHMANDU: Tourism expert and former chairman of Nepal Association of Rafting Agents (NARA) Rajendra Bantawa on Tuesday released a book — Village: The New Tourist Destination of Nepal — penned by by chairman of Kathmandu Research Centre Dr Surendra Bhakta Pradhanang. Similarly, a KRC concept, which details about a very new concept of humour tourism, was also made public at the programme. Tourism expert Bantawa said the book penned by Dr Pradhanang would be very useful in the tourism sector. Pradhanang said that economic revolution in Nepal would be possible with the planned development of rural tourism. — RSS
