Schoolkid abducted

Itahari: The whereabouts of Animesh Acharya, who was abducted on Friday, are still unknown. The abductors had sought Rs 50 million ransom. However, they had not made contact after that. Animesh’s father Arjun said family feud was the reason behind the abduction. He said police had not been able to trace the child even after they arrested three family members suspected of their involvement in the crime. Meanwhile, students demanding security and Animesh’s release obstructed traffic in Jhumka along the east-west highway for four hours today.
