PHIDIM: The Panchthar District Administration Office has imposed ban on the sale of firecrackers in district headquarters Phidim and other adjoining areas from Saturday. RAUTAHAT: Vehicular movement in the Gaur-Chandranigahpur road, that was halted for the last two days, resumed from Saturday. Man found dead

NAWALPARASI: A body of a male aged around 45 was found under the Arunkhola Bridge in Nayabelhani VDC of Nawalparasi on Saturday. The body has been taken to a hospital for post-mortem. The police said that the person might have died due to excessive consumption of liquor. —HNS

Two seized with arms

MAHOTTARI: Two activists of Sanyukta Janatantrik (Ananda) were arrested with weapons from Jaleshwor municipality chowk in Mohattari district on Saturday, the police said. The arrestees — Biki Thakur of Bathanaha VDC and Santosh Singh of Koluwa Bageya VDC — have been kept at the Mahottari District Police Office for investigation. —HNS
