KATHMANDU: Leaders of the three parties in the government will meet soon and form a Political Coordination Committee (PCC). The PCC will help the government implement CMP, resolve problems and overcome hurdles by creating an atmosphere of trust among government partners. PCC will work to promote culture of cooperation among parties in the CA. — HNS

Cops attacked

Chandranigahpur: A gang hurled seven socket bombs targeting the Shivanagar area police office in Rautahat district on Thursday. Police said it fired 130 rounds of bullet, speculating that six attackers might have been hurt. A suspect, 20-year-old Ashok Roy Yadav of Binangra VDC-3, Rautahat was held. — HNS

One arrested

MAHOTTARI: Police arrested an activist of the Rajan Mukti-led Tarai Janatantrik Mukti Morcha on Thursday. Police arrested Phiron Khan while he was making a bomb in his house in Kisannagar VDC-4 of Mahottari district. Khan admitted that he was cadre of the Morcha. — HNS

Kid found dead

POKHARA: A two-and-a-half-year-old child was found dead in a canal on Thursday. Deepak Tamang was found dead in a canal of Bijaypur Irrigation Project, police said. — HNS
