King must abdicate’

KAPILVASTU: Maoist cadres allegedly beat up and injured NC activist Kamal Prasad Mishra in Kapasi of Mahendrakot-1 in Kapilvastu. Bus-hit kills kid

RAJBIRAJ: Tension mounted and traffic had to be diverted via Rajbiraj after a child, Alam Sheikh (9), was killed when a Biratnagar-bound bus from Janakpur hit him at Barmajhiya of Saptari on Saturday. Enraged locals set fire to the bus and pelted stones at a fire engine that came from Rajbiraj to douse the fire. After the locals vandalised another bus as well, east-bound vehicles were diverted via Rajbiraj. — HNS
