NEW DELHI: Indian External Affairs Minister SM Krishna congratulated CPN-UML leader Madhav Kumar Nepal for being elected by the CA as the new Prime Minister of Nepal. Issuing a press statement here on Monday, Krishna expressed confidence that Nepal would do the needful to take the peace peace process to a logical conclusion and draft the new constitution on time. Robber held

BIRATNAGAR: Police on Sunday arrested one person on the charge of his involvement in robbery at Pathari-based Bhattarai Money Transfer and Pathivara Bank 40 days ago. Kumar Chhetri, 27, a resident of Ramailo, Morang, was arrested from Salakpur in Morang, the police said. A socket bomb, two homemade pistols and four rounds of bullets were also recovered from Chhetri, who has been detained at Belbari Area Police Office. A gang had looted Rs 13 lakh from Bhattarai Money Transfer and Pathivara Bank on April 16. — HNS
