Student killed

LAHAN: Ram Kumar Gupta (18), a Grade X student of Marry Children Boarding School, Lahan, was found dead on Friday. Gupta, a resident of Lahan Municipality, had been missing for the past three days. His body was found in a ground of Padaria with his throat slit. The body was later sent to Lahan hospital for post mortem. Motive behind the murder is still unknown.Investigation into the incident is still underway.RSS

Mishap injures 20

ITAHARI: Twenty passengers were injured when a truck collided with a bus that was heading to the east from the capital at Bhokraha of Sunsari district on Saturday. Sunsari District Police Office said the condition of Dibas Khadka of Inaruwa and Roshan Poudel of Topgachhi, Jhapa was critical. The duo is undergoing treatment at BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences, Dharan. The other injured have been admitted to District Hospital, Inaruwa. HNS
