Oli leaves for Havana :

KATHMANDU: Deputy Prime Minister and the Minister for Foreign Affairs, KP Oli on Sunday left for Havana of Cuba to participate in the 14th Summit of Non Alligned Movement. He will return on October 5. At his departure at the Tribhuvan International Airport on Sunday, he promised the vacant posts of ambassadors would be filled after his return. Deadline extended :

KATHMANDU: The deadline for sending national anthems was extended on Sunday to Asoj 6 as demanded by the people outside the Kathmandu Valley. This is stated in a press communique issued on Sunday by the National Anthem Selection Task Force under the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation. — RSS.

NARA demand :

KATHMANDU: The Nepal Association of Rafting Agent on Saturday urged the government to allow them the right to issue rafting register certificates for tourists going down the white water. Only then will the association be able to keep a record of tourists going for the adventure sport, it said. “We should be allowed to issue RRC to those going for river rafting so that we can maintain the exact data of rafters,” said Surya Joshi, president of the NARA. — HNS
