MAHOTTARI: A person was electrocuted at Jalpamai Temple in Gaushala of Mahottari district on Sunday.

The deceased has been identified as Sushil Sah (37) of Shreenagar in Sarlahi.

The incident took place when Sah accidently touched an electric wire while climbing up a peepal tree to pluck its leaves, informed Inspector Shambhu Pokharel of the Area Police Office, Gaushala.

He had died on the spot.
