Police on Monday nabbed a member of a gang, which had threatened to kill a jeweller in course of extortion. Raji Majhi Musahar, of Bara’s Lipanimal VDC-9, was held on the charge of extorting money from the jeweller and threatening him, said DSP Shaurav Bikram Rana. Musahar was nabbed from Bara’s Chainpur. Musahar has been taken into custody at the district police office for investigation.
