SURUNGA: Area Police Office, Kakadbhitta, nabbed a woman with four kg hashish on Wednesday.

Police identified the arrestee as Kopila Tamang aka Asmita (25) of Rangeli-8, Morang with the huge amount of contraband drugs.

Police said she was caught red handed during a security screening carried out by police at the Kakadbhitta border point. She was on the way to Nepal from India, police added.

Further investigation into the incident is underway, informed the Area Police Office.

Likewise, police caught Sujan Angdambe (22) of Shaniarjun municipality-4 in Jhapa with around two gram brown sugar.
