DHANGADHI: Police on Tuesday arrested a man with a rhino horn from Lamki of Kailali.

The suspect has been identified as Lok Raj Joshi (50) of Gular, Chuha-11, Lamki.

Acting on a tip-off, an investigation team deployed from the Far-Western Regional Police Office apprehended Joshi with the rhino horn.

“We are searching for the gang of rhino horn smugglers active in the area for the past two weeks,” DSP Bishwo Raj Khadka of the District Police Office, Kailali informed.

He said that though the police team had managed to arrest one of the members of the gang, the kingpin is yet to be nabbed.

Police said that Joshi has been kept at the DPO, Kailali for necessary investigation.
