HETAUDA: A person died and another sustained injuries after the motorcycle they were travelling on lost control in Hetauda Sub-Metropolitan City-7 of Makawanpur district on Friday night.

The deceased has been identified as Rajesh Timalsina (25) and injured as Pralhad Timilsina (25) both of Makranchuli in Makawanpurgadhi Rural Municipality-3 in the district.

According to Superintendent of Police (SP) Mukesh Kumar Singh at Makawanpur District Police Office, the incident occurred when the motorcycle (Na 79 Pa 5925), en route to Hetauda from Chaughada Bazaar lost control and fell into the roadside ditch at Neureni, injuring the two.

The injured duo was rushed to Hetauda Hospital, where Rajesh breathed his last during the course of treatment.

Meanwhile, Pralhad has been referred to Bharatpur-based Chitwan Medical College for further treatment, police informed.

Further investigation into the case is underway, said police.
