KATHMANDU: A person died and another sustained injuries when a tractor met with an accident in Bhitariya, Hasuliya-1 of Kailali district, on Monday.

The deceased has been identified as a local, Dipendra Chaudhary (26), who was driving the tractor (Lu 2 Ta 906), police said. Chaudhary had died on the spot.

The incident occurred at around 7:30 pm yesterday.

Helper Bachan Chaudhary (40) was injured in the incident. He has been sent home after primary treatment, informed police.

Police are investigating into the case.
