GAIGHAT: A man was killed and one other sustained injuries in a motorcycle accident at Kalikhola, Triyuga Municipality-7, on Tuesday.

The deceased has been identified as Dipendra Rana Magar (25) of Deurali, Triyuga Municipality-5. He was en route to Gaighat from Murkuchi, Udaypur in his motorcycle (Me 6 Pa 9539) when his bike lost control in high speed and got into the accident at 7 in the evening, Traffic Police Shambhu Karki said.

Magar was taken to Neuro Hospital in Biratnagar but he died during the treatment.

Pillion rider Sushil Thapa (22) has been seriously injured and is currently treated in the same hospital.
