CHITWAN: A person was killed after he was hit by a bus at Jugedi of Chitwan district on Saturday.

According to police, Baburam Gole (50) of Thori in Parsa district, who was heading to attend a wedding ceremony in Kathmandu, was knocked down by the bus (Na 6 Kha 1890).

He had just got off from another bus for lunch at Jugedi, when the accident took place, police informed.

Gole died on the way to the hospital for treatment.

Police are meanwhile searching for the bus involved in the hit-and-run case.
