KATHMANDU: A youth was killed when a truck hit him near Machhedi River in Galchhi Rural Municipality-7 of Dhading district on Thursday evening.

The identity of the deceased is yet to be ascertained.

The incident occurred when the truck (Na 6 Kha 808) hit the person at 7:30 pm yesterday killing him on the spot, according to police.

Dhading Police have impounded the truck and detained its driver for further investigation.
