KATHMANDU: A man was killed and another person was injured in an accident when a speeding truck collided with another stationary truck at Baireni , Dhading along the Prithivi Highway on Wednesday.

The deceased has been identified as the driver of the parked truck but further details about him are yet to be established. The injured is a conductor of the same truck. He is undergoing treatment in Kathmandu for treatment.

The driver and the truck are in police custody for further investigation.
