LAHAN: One person died and nine others were injured after a tractor ferrying pilgrims met with an accident at Sonamati Gadha road section in Siraha district on Saturday.

The deceased has been identified as Indian national Narayan Thakur (40).

The tractor (Sa 1 Ta 3774) was returning from local Rajdevi Temple overturned when the incident occurred.

The injured are undergoing treatment at a local hospital.
