A secretary has been looking after 21 VDCs in Ramechhap district, as his colleagues

still continue to enjoy Dashain leave.

The secretaries of 20 VDCs, before leaving for their home during Dashain, had urged Madhav Prasad Subedi, secretary of Solu VDC, to look after their offices as well.

“I have been running 21 VDCs as the secretaries of 20 local bodies have not joined their duties yet even after the festival leave is already over,” said Subedi.

“Since they all hail from other districts and I am a local resident of Ramechhap, they entrusted me with the responsibility of attending their duties,” he said. “I remain very busy since early morning throughout the day,” Subedi said. Among others, Subedi has been looking after Gunsi, Lakhanpur, Makadum, Khandadevi, Pakarbas, Dimipokhari, Gagal, Bethan, Preeti, Bhuji, Gothgaun, Deurali, Daduwa, Goswara, Pinkhuri, Hiledevi, Majhuwa, Rakathum and Bhaluwajor VDCs.
